ro unit help

One is 5micron membrane and other is a 5 carbon and on top is a filmtec

I replaced the membrane and the carbon filters but the flow is the same.
I also did a reading with tds meter and its 55ppm after an hour .
 
well then either your membrane is very old and has perished,
or you have connected up wrong
if its a genuine filmtec membrane and new filters you should be anywhere between 2 and 7
after resin at 0
 
I tested my water pressure near my water meter and its only 3 bars
I also disconnected the resin filter and rinsed the membrane for 2 hours and then re connected every thing back together then tested my water it fluctuates between 5 -7ppm and the water flow is a bit strongerthan before

3 bars is more than enough

cant see how you had such high readings before then if they now between 5 and 7

oh also , if thats the case ....your resin is shot cause new resin would ensure a 0 - 1 tds, even if membrane was blown (at least for a short period of time)
