Hi guys does anyone have RO water in Cape Town CBD ready made? I used chemiclean to the exact instruction and over dosed and 5 of my corals are dead and the rest look in a state. My sailfin has sores on her face. I need to urgently do a fast change and I'm watching my RO drip and don't even have one drum yet.

Glad you found some RO. In my personal opinion never never never use chemiclean!
I made the mistake once! Never will that product see my tank again!

It needs to be a much worse disaster than this to use tap water!
With such a issue just aerate your water like crazy!

Sorry bud, did not know fish was dying. From personal experience I have learned very expensive lessons by using tap water when I could have tried something else.
@melissadelport best of luck, with Andre on your side you are in good hands!
Take him up on his offer to house your fish till you get the tank back to stable.

Holding all my thumbs and toes!

Took me six months to recover from using that product and I underdosed to be safe, extra air stones and everything. N & P still not to where it was, at least it's stable now going down slowly. Best way to recover frequent WC IMHO.

Good luck and sorry for your losses, hopefully that's the end of it.

Hi everyone thank you for the support. And Andre pls pm me your number and thank you for the RO. If it wasn't for that RO everything would of been dead. Unfortunately the news gets worse. Did a 50% water change last night and woke up this morning to all my corals dead and only 5 of my 16 fish alive. My entire tank is gone. I then drove to plastics warehouse and got drums and got RO from SAMs. Rushed home and used my algae scrubber tank, only 50L and made a small tank then got the remaining fish out and put them in there. Risking shock it was my only option. I will after 4 years be starting from scratch. From the guidance I have received David from perky pets sold me nitra guard bio cubes. Apparently you can not put it all in at once as he told me to do under an air stone. It caused a bacteria bloom and completely spiked my ph and took out all oxygen from my tank killing everything. It's the worst advice and Product I have ever received. I am shocked that under so called professional support this has happened. I've been in this hobby for 4 years and this is my all time low thanks to the product and the advice. I will never touch this product again or the store. Especially after I stood there for ages explaining everything about my tank such as the high nitrate and ph. I will today be stripping the remains of my tank. I will be starting a thread to show the devastation caused by incorrect advice.

Mmmmmm, that is bad news. I am sorry for your loss. However, I am sceptical about the cubes causing this problem, I overdose with the product and it has never done this to my tank. Maybe @KillerWhale, @irie ivan or @dallasg could elaborate further here.
