I had to save this Nennie from bleaching in a LFS (non MASA sponsor;)) so I bought it and brought it back to colour a bit again. It is very healthy, and has extended nicely. My tank is however a bit small for it, so I am looking at a better home for it...

    Notes:
Now, please, if you do not know how to care for anemone's dont even attempt to buy it please. I would prefer more experienced reefers that has addequite lighting and stable systems purchase it. You must at least know something about Anemone care before I will sell it to you. :p

    Thanks;)

I've been looking into buying an Anemone for a while... I just don't know if it will thrive under my lighting... 2 x 150 watt halides and 2 x 54 watt T5's. It technically should be enough, but I'm just not sure...

    What do you think Jaco?

it should be fine for your tank, i had a pure white one that was so badly bleached and now its big and healthy, they like to sit right under the lights on the highest part of the tank. mine is directly under my 150w mh

Yeah slagter, that is more than enough!!! The most imporant think IMO in any coral pruchase is to know under what light it was. People buy nennies from LFS that was kep under T8's, then they go chuck it under a 400MH and when the nennie runs for it's life they wonder why?

I do however know for a fact that the LED and a 150W MH (give or take) are more or less the same, so it would do fine...

Have you kept nennies before ?

I haven't... That's why I'm asking about it. Also, until I get my Vortech, I'm using Seio Props, so I just don't want this thing to get chopped up. I'm gonna pass on this one... Pity though.
