Good luck with this. Once yumas bleach like this its hard to get them back to their former glory. Best you can do is place them in a lower flow area and target feed them (mine love mysis and tiny beits of meaty foods).
    What lighting do you have?

What was the cause? Low light or bad water conditions? Don't worry to much though in your tank they should recover ziyaad, well most of them seem like they can.

Z, a lot of TLC and feeding should get them sorted out with time

    my babies are dying :dft004:
could it be possible that i have too little nutrients in my tank?
and why is it only the humas that look so dead?

I dont think its a nutrient issue. Mine are fine in low with just about zero nitrates and phosphates

Mo, I'm using about 310 Watts of Geisemann T5 lighting on a 65cm deep tank. The lights are about 20cm from the waters' surface.

Mo, I have both. The floridas are slow growing but the yumas are going mad. I was given another a small colony of green yumas a few weeks ago and they have doubled in size. My existing colony that I bought about 4months ago have doubled in sized and have multiplied

Quite a lot of people including myself have had yumas just melt away after a while for no apparent reason. They are fine for months and then they just go downhill.

Could it not be an iodine shortage Z? I dose two drops of lugols daily in 600 litre which could be keeping them alive. My xenia when I first started my tank werent doing too lekker till I started with iodine.

Mo, the one colony is like a dark green and some dark brown and the new one is a luminous green
