    Hi Everyone,

I just had a look at a plumbing store and they have fountain pumps that can do round 4000l/p less than R1000.

Would the type of pump matter? What I want to know is would the saltwater mess up this pump or would it break down easier than say a Hailea?

    Toughts?

Check what the impellor shaft is made from, ie will it rust in salt water.

    I'll add my 2 cents.
I bought one of those fountain pumps (2000l/h) just to mix the salt into my RO water.
It's so weak, that it hardly turned the water over to mix it, I eventually got so frustrated that I went and bought a SunSun JPV101
