    Guys

Im using a 32ml pvc pipe to return my water from the sump.
What can i use at the exit point to diffuse the water so that i dont get one solid stream like a hose pipe effect.

what size return pump are we talking about here? What is it really delivering back into the tank after taking head height loss into account plus any elbows.

If it is less than 3000L/h then why worry. Have you siphon break in place and use the flow as an additional powerhead.

I have the same issue. I have a 3500lph return pump, not sure the exact flow at the outlet into the tank, but it makes getting my water flow in the tank right. I was considering plumbing a spraybar in which will run the lenght of the back.
