I have a 500l plastic drum, and am going to cut the top off, and use as a hospital tank, what is needed? Rock, substrate, a skimmer, or just lots of flow with somewhere for them to hide?

I want ideas, and will do a pic step by step project

when i think hospital tank i think

    sterile

so NO live rock or substrate

a couple ceramic pots / pvc pipes for hiding places

    skimmer heater and some flow.

remember you want a couple things.... paracites to die... i.e. no place for white spot etc to complete its life cycle

you want to be able to dose with copper.... which would kill the stuff in the live rock anyway !
