You won't be able to buy pods locally, the pod population won't increase till the wrasse goes, they are prolific pod hunters. Feed him frozen Krill or Mysis

You won't have any luck increasing the pods in the tank but if you start a refugium you should be ensuring he has a fairly low maintenance continuous food supply. You're welcome to pay me a visit if you want some "starter population".

Feed it Mysis and Krill. In due time it should take flake food as well as pellets.

Ah, maybe I should look at aquarium specs before commenting... :2embarrassed:

Afraid there's no way you will ever increase pod population in a tank that size with a wrasse in. On the other hand there's not really that much of a need to. Wrasses will generally accept quite a few other foods.

I guess it was an impulsive buy when I got the wrasse and to be honest I don't really want my system to suffer , so I guess I most likely will sell my wrasse.

Thanks guys for the great advise anyone intersted in taking the wrasse ?

Willing to swop for something that is better suited for my tl450.

My system is still very new and getting the biological aspect of it rite is my first and formost priority
