    Hey all,

My tank seems to have spiked with very fine algae recently. Also the rocks (and even the hermits) have started to grow hair-like algae too.

Any good, quick idea on what to do ?

    I have a CUC comprising 2 hermits, 8 snails, 3 peppermints, 2 red fires.

Nitrates are at about 6ppm, Phosphates at 0.04 and Ammonia at <0.25

    Any ideas please ?

    Thanks
    Vic

I'd also like to hear an answer to this! I've heard chemo pure elite takes out phosphates which is what algae needs!
