Relatively easy to keep if water params are spot on, very prone to white spot. Stress easily which also brings on white spot. They reach enormous sizes so you might have to sell or give away at a later stage.

As with any tang you need a large tank to provide them with plenty swimming space. Some tangs like the powder blue and powder brown, the achillies etc are very soft targets for white spot and they can get it very quickly when stressed.
Regals are more hardy in this sence but can still get white spot if the conditions aren't right or the fish gets stressed up by other tank inmates. It is not recommended to add more than one tang per tank (depending on size of tank obviously) because of their territorial behaviour. They are mostly herbivoris fish and live on algae. They need a lot of good quality live rock to graze on. You can feed them nori (dried seaweed) and they will accept flakes and frozen foods too ;)

Advice is spot on, all tangs need sea weed or algae to graze on, the easiest way to do this is with nori paper.

your aqurium should be atleast 300Litres. Regal tangs will eat most foods but it is essential to feed regularly with good quality seaweed/algae (nori/sea veggies) as this is critical to the Regal tang's immune systems. Slowly acclimatize the fish into your aquarium by dripping it for atleast one hour. If possible, ask your LFS to hold him for two weeks before you purchase him to make sure he's healthy. If you have a really large aquarium and plan on keeping more than one regal then it will best if you introduce all at the same time to reduce agression amongst themselves.
