Urgent help needed Regal Tang

    I just bought a Regal Tang.

    Drip aclim for 2 hours.

    Popped him in. now Clarkii clowns attacking him like crazy.
    I think they gunna kill it

    Regal is tiny. 2.5cm

    Clown male 4cm = female 7cm

    Sump him for a few days...

    Clarkii's are bossy things.

    What should i Sump? the clarkiis?

    Pointless sumping the regal because they just going to do it 2 days later again

    ya sump the clown. Maybe put the regal in a QT tank if you have as well because chances are he's gonna get some bad spot after the stress. QT for a while, feed him well and get him strong and healthy for the DT.

    Get rid of the clarkii's they are going to do that to every fish you put in the tank...mean little buggers those are. I would sump one of the two...the regal needs time to settle down and take to prepared foods and get its immune system up. Dose vitimins and garlic with his food and to the tank to help with this.

    now way guys,sizes does count,my clarki and regal are like best buts,because there same size,try to keep most fish the same size,works for me.......:stupid:

    THis female attacks my freaking hand..

    No way im gunna catch it. im gunna have take all my live rock out..

    Lets just see if they leave regal alone him alone ..
    if it gets worse i will take the female clown out

    Glad you got the nasty bugger out, leaving her in with the regal could've practically been a death sentence for the regal.

    What I don't understand is why lfs's sell those small regals, I personally don't think anyone should purchase a regal under 4cm minimum(medium size).... To me through buddies experiences they all loose them in a matter of days cause they vulnerable to diseases,deficiencies an bullying when small

    I'm not sure - would reintroducing the female clarkii in a habitation chamber - like a see through perspex container - where she cant attack the regal but can get used to it in the tank - help at all? They are fairly easy to manufacture.

    @Xereo, you might be a lucky 1 to keep it for longer lol.... But regals are 2nd to pb's where whitespot is concerned
