    Hi Guys

Has anyone managed to get the lumens value on Reeftek T5's specifically the 10000k 54w bulbs. I've read through a few posts, notably Jaco Schoeman's on the some of the different t5's, but no references to the Reeftek globes. Anyone got more info. Shot ;)

Yep they give of around 3900lm which is not bad at all IMHO.

thats aproximately 72 lm per watt for a budget tube so i think its a good value for money bulb.

not sure how they age though...

good question lol cant remember exactly but its slightly higher.will try to find exact figures for you....

the other budget globe(sylvania aquastar-also a 10000k 54w) gives of a lousy 2800lm (52lm/watt).considering that these globes go for the same price i would go for the reeftek IMO.
