Thanks @leslie hempel for support, advice (past, present and future) and all the stock & equipment! Would have made many expensive mistakes without it.

when ive used this prior to imersion in water its worked very very well, but when i use it to glue frags its always ulled loose or not quite dried as well remaining uncured and pasty in the centre, bostik aquamend is another option and retails for around R99 a small tube, the marine grade equivalents are pretty pricey,

Does the pipe from your skimmer cup have a cap on?

Yes cap on. Haven’t read instructions yet, decided to keep it off for the cycling time.

Awaiting test kit delivery but so far all is looking good. A mate of mine bought me two cleaner shrimp as a gift- had no choice but to put them in the sump with liverock, but they seem happy? How are things on your side?

3F1CB1F5-0B13-45F0-BE5E-65D3E890A893.jpeg I’d like to have these two fish (yellow and black tangs) as the main attraction in the aquarium. Please comment.

8D6E692E-7912-4050-8395-1CD77B3516A4.jpeg Haha turtle would be rad! Ideally 3 of each, wallet permitting... Black ones way more exp and rare. Read that both of these are peaceful, very active and reef safe, not to mention the contrasting colours that bounce off each other. Have seen that tangs swim around in mid to low range of tank which is where I want most attention drawn. Actually want the long- nose black tang that looks more like the yellow ones. Pic-

Those are awesome. Yellows can be a bit aggressive if you add a tang at a later stage

    Where did you read that?
Yellows can and could get along, especially when small. But expect fighting as they grow up. More than one zebrasoma in a tank is risky. In the wild the picked on fish can swim far away from the bullies.

In that picture with the turtle, the dark ones look like kole tangs. And they are Ctenocheatus. It should be save to keep one yellow with one Kole, as they are different families.

@RiaanP Read online, can’t recall source but thank you for the info, so you recommend not more than one of each? The yellow and black ones that I want are both from Zebrasoma family, Z. flavescens and Z. rostratum. Would that a problem if added simultaneously and they are similar in size?
