    yup i will accept upto R2000 for it, after that i would feel really bad cos a new one with one impeller costs R2600

    in that case good luck with the sale as sims had a octx160 for R1500 incl shipping boet.just waiting for him to reply i'll be taking that as its much better.

    you were haggling on the price not the quality. i think both skimmers are fine and do the job. best of luck finding a skimmer. you would do well to buy from sims( i have only heard good reports about him)ps the octx160 is rated for 900l and the ts3 for 1500l so i would consider the one which is better suited to your tank size. the ts3 also has triple the size and footprint and one would need to consider if it would fit in your sump( look at pic ,the drum nexto ts3 is 20l

    Those Ts3 are great skimmers, very powerfull indeed. Adee was running the same for couple of years on him fully stocked sps tank and worked. I saw pics of it running in the sump on the his new system. Mandiran im sure a guy that knows skimmers will take this for the asking price you want.

    ts3 rated at 700l and the octx 160 rated at 900l.how you ask?simple really newer design with bubble plate and better pump that pulls more air.

    Still i agree the ts3 is a great skimmer and you not asking a ridiculous price or anything.R1500 for a ts3 is quite reasonable.

    there is a dude here in my area with a reeftek hang on back i will ask him tomorrow if he is interested in a swop,but then how will we do it if he's interested?you lnow anyone coming down or via post then?

    post should cost around R75 bucks with insurance etc,but let me call him first will let you know.
