    Hi Guys

I am looking for a reeftek TS2 or any good skimmer rated at 500-800lt

Not willing to pay stupid money. As you know this is an expensive hobby.

    Looking at under R1000-00

    Cheers

Don't have a TS2 unfortunately but can offer you a Reef Octopus Extreme 160 if you interested?

What is the footprint of this unit? I am restricted to size. Just noticed the reeftek will be a little too big. I only have 20x25x52 to work with.

As far as i know the Reef Otco 160 has got a very small footprint because the pump is housed underneath the body. @Ridwaan can you give an indication of the performance of this skimmer.

It uses the new Sicce PSK600 pump...very efficient skimmer...
Better than the TS range, that's for sure...
I will measure footprint, but as @D3m0n369 says, it has a very small footprint

Also, Price is a bit more than the TS range...
    Will PM you price

What price can you do for a poor man like me? Also do you have any spare heaters. My tanks is not heating up with the current heater.

Just googled the footprint. Its 210mm x 210mm but the height is a concern 560mm. @HobboHoppy dont think it will fit your sump.

@HobboHoppy might i suggest you use an Aquaria skimmer. Very affordable. I got one with my Aquaria 1 meter. Works perfectly. Give Lawrence a buzz for pricing.

I doubt if there are a lot of skimmers rated 500 to 800 liters that will fit in there.

If a space saver design like the Reef Octo 160 do not fit. You will struggle to find something else.

Alternative is to cut the divider out and to move it up just a little bit.

Check with Zuna. He has 2 aquaria skimmers for sale and rated for that size tank, also the footprint should work as well
