Try Aiptasia-x from red sea , the lable sais "Guarenteed reef safe " ( R189.95 )
Come with syringes, ingect it close to the mouth of the aiptasia, it eats the gell and binds, withing minuts the aiptasia implodes.

A Copperband Butterfly can work. One has have very good water quality. If you have shrimps in the tank they will get quickly munched up. Some say they even go for corals.

    Hi Evo,

All advice given is fair and good just a few points to consider.

Finding Berghia Nudi's in SA is nearly impossible, peppermint shrimp are really a hit & miss in my experience, Copperband is not suited to a TL 550 tank (IMHO).

I think "chemical" treatment is your best option

Thanx guys for all the comments so far.

If i go "chemical" will it have any effects on my softies ect?

I dont want to go the Butterfly root as i had 2 in the past and within a week to a week and a half they destroyed almost all "life" on my LR.

And i cant remove the LR as most is covered in softies.

Hi Evo, see no one answered your question...no going "chemical" (Aptasia X , Joes Juice, Lemon Juice , etc) will have no ill effect)....only varying degrees of sucess

just be careful with going chemical, if it is not dead, it would have stressed, and make babies, more aptasia, and bigger problem.
    Never ending story.

Only attach the big ones, where you are sure you can get the required stuff into its mouth. Let the small ones be until they are big.

Else use natural on the small ones.
