    Hi guys

Just wanted to find out if / where its possible to get these LED striplights in South Africa.

    ReefBrite TECH LED | ReefBrite.com

I was wanting to supplement t5's on a nano with these LED's in future in white for a shimmer effect.

    Thanks ;)

(soz posted this in the Lighting section as well, but thought maybe general will get more views)

Ah ok cool, Thanks for the reply

Does anybody know of any kind of equivalent to this to produce shimmer in a nano tank, as a supplement to t5's?

Well, if you really only want it for the shimmer, then just add normal smd strip led's to the tank, a couple of guys have done it before...you can buy them cheap of gumtree, bidorbuy, ebay...etc etc

ok cool, I am basically going for shimmer only, because I'll already have 4 ATI t5's for a 30 cm width, and shallow tank, so will be plenty of light.

Have you seen or heard if adding smd strip led's produces a decent shimmer effect?

I have seen them in action, and there is a nice shimmer (like with all LED's shimmer only really becomes noticeble when your water surface is agetated)...

awesome, great, thanks for the help. Ye, I'm planning on getting a vortech mp10 cause the setup is small, so can splash out a bit on the equipment :)
