I'll swap a litre of reef supplements for a good quality frag.

    I have the following available:
    1. calcium chloride dihydrate
    2. magnesium chloride hexahydrate
    3. magnesium sulphate
    4. sodium carbonate
    5. sodium bicarbonate
    6. calcium hydroxide (kalkwasser)

Additives 1 to 5 are used to make up the "improved two-part calcium and alkalinity supplement" http://reefkeeping.com/issues/2006-02/rhf/index.php.

The chemicals are either high quality or BP grade, but not lab grade. I've used them in my tank for the past two months without obvious problems.

All chemicals are shipped dry in plastic containers. Once mixed with water, they'll make between 3.5 to 8 litres of supplement solution (the calcium hydroxide much more unless you're using the slurry method).

    How this will work
Send me a private message containing your name, email address, cell number and postal address as well as what supplements you want. Please also tell me what kind of frags you're going to send back.I'll ship a box to your local post office containing the supplements and a styrofoam container. You put in one frag per dry litre of supplement you've received into the container. The container has the return address printed on it.

Make sure you know what time the "Speed Services Counter to Door" bag leaves your local post office each day so that you can drop the parcel off before then. You can find this out by phoning Speed Services on 0860 023 133. As long as you keep the weight under 2.5kg the post office will charge you under R124.

Wayne at Aqua Concepts in Bree Street in Cape Town has very kindly agreed to receive the frags on my behalf since I spend my day at work.

I'd prefer SPS frags because they ship well and that's what I'm most interested in, but if you think your zoanthids or mushrooms or whatever are something special then I'll take two frags of those instead. Whatever you think is a fair trade :)

Please let me know if you have any suggestions.

    Cheers,

    Rob

Viper, umm, not exactly what I had in mind, but yeah, what the hell. 3 kilos for R200 sound okay?

Leslie, what kind of frags are you after? If you pay for shipping I'll send you up a handful.
