    Hi Guys,

I'm looking for spares for a Reef Octopus 3000L/H pump please. The pump is on my skimmer and needless to say not working currently.

The shaft that goes through the pinwheel impeller, is broken into three pieces (a piece is even missing). I will more than likely take a new pinwheel impeller as well as shaft and need the parts relatively urgently. If anyone in CPT has stock, I can more than likely come arround tomorrow to pick up.

Alternatively, I suppose what will a new pump cost me, *sigh*...

So good thing I took the old impeller with me!

It was actually a 2000L/h and not a 3000L/h pump! Was obviously in a hurry when I read the label on the back of the pump last night.

New impeller in, and she's running as quiet as a mouse. I have to look for water movement / bubbles in order to determine whether the pump is on or not. Sitting right infront of the pump, you don't hear -anything- Oh my wife's going to be happy. There's been nights where that darn noisy pump kept us awake untill the wee wee hours of the morning!

Many thanks for the prompt assistance and quick turnarround! Very sorry I missed you David!
