Reef Octopus ORCA 100 In Sump

    Got myself a awesome skimmer.

    Reef Octopus ORCA 100 Int.

    I would just like to know if anyone knows where the bubbles should go up to. would is be above the ring where the cup is attached? Would it be at the bottom of the cup?

    Please let me know anyone knows?

    Also the skimmer has been running for about 6 Hours and still no skim mate.

    Will see tomorrow morning.

    Nice buy. New skimmers can take up to 3 or 4 days to wear in and get rid of all the oils used in the manufacturing process, once the skimmer 'cleans' itself you should start seeing some skimmate. Give it a day or two. :)

    Where should the bubbles start thou? This thing has a MASSIVE chamber compared to the TS1 i used to have. So will bubbles still travel up if i skim dry?

    I'll give it a few days to kick in then adjust it accordingly.
