    I have a Reef Octo DNW 150 . Its stats are :

Tank Size: 800 L Product Size (mm): ø150x680 Foot Print (mm): 380x180 Air Intake: 2000 lph Pump Power: OTP-2000 (2000lph) 38W.

It is an external skimmer , my question is how much flow should I be looking for through the skimmer ?

Hi Martin. Anything between 800lph to 1000lph will be ideal to feed the skimmer.
Too much, and the there will be not enough contact time between air and water.
