Not yet, bought one from Jean 6 months ago, with WIFI, its been in the box since. I am breaking down my old tank this weekend and setting up a new one, not sure weather to bother setting up the Reef Angel on the new tank.

Think the main problem is that I'm a bit intimidated by it.

Well in my opinion its a nice piece of kit. That being said there is a big learning curve and if you do not have a bit of technical pc knowledge you will be frustrated by the wifi module. the programming of the actual unit is simple via a RA wizard in the ardiuno programmer.

Thanks Butcherman, that's one of the reasons im looking for someone in CPT running one so I can pop in and see it in action. Maybe even get a hand with the baisc set up.

The best is to sit down and struggle, its the only way you are going to learn, and once you got it, it is easy... took me 2days:biggrin:

Its an awesome piece of kit. Wifi module can be tricky. The reef angel part is a breeze with the wizard.

Lots of advice on the wifi module on the ra forum. And Roberto is usually quick to respond if you post for help

I also have one and will be "struggling" over the next couple of weeks with mine. Will keep you updated on any success - or you will probably see me scream, shout and rant on the forum, or weeping like a little girl ....

Ok - so put the PH probe and temp sensor in the tank as a start.
Connected via USB to PC and uploaded the InitialInternalMemory.

What next? Where do I get basic code to display temp and PH only?

Then I want to try and connect wifi module.

I have downloaded the software. That is how I did the initialinternalMemory upload.

Where do I get basic code to upload after that?

Found the RA Wizard - looks like it will be a lot of help. So setup the RA unit to just check temp and PH.
Temp is correct but PH measured at 1.42
So assume I will need to calibrate? Not what I was looking forward to.

Trying to setup the wifi module but has been hanging on "Setting up your wifi attachment" for about 10 minutes now ...

Ph calibration is easy v of you have the fluid. Wifi should be fast. Check your router settings. Whst router are you running? And have you forwarded the ports

Ahhh - please explain about forwarding the ports...
Wifi setup is not working - just hangs at setting up wifi adapter
