This is starting to drive me crazy!

Any ideas on reducing flow from my skimmer chamber to DSB chamber? The baffle is quite high and with the water "falling" so far, it's churning up the first 2-3cm's of DSB closest to the baffle.

Dallas mentioned cutting Pvc pipe vertically and making an under/over with that. How do you get the 2 pieces to stay in place?

I just use some sponges to slow the water as it leaves the skimmer

Make the partition between DSB and return pump higher.

Then water can not drop down that far.

Any higher and the water will never get to the return pump ;)

This is what I was looking for, thanks Chris! Now to find a jigsaw to do the cutting

I also got this idea from Tobes and it works great. If you don't cut the groove in the main pipe to wide, the second one just wedges in and the pressure from the water keeps it there - no glue or hassle!!:)
