Redhawks new tank

    Hi everyone

    I started the tank in October 2011. Its taking a while but its almost ready to run. Some Specs
    Tank : 820mmLx780mmDx800mmH
    Sump x2 : 1000mmLx550mmDx300mmH
    All out of 10mm glass
    Using a aquamedic Calcium reactor
    aqua excel skimmer rated for 1200L

    Nice tank, but you might fint the 800mm hieght an issue when working in the tank

    looks very cool. Is the sump etc below the tank down stairs or in a room behind?

    looking great man.. Why did you not put euro bracing on such a high tank with 10mm glass? Im no tank builder but I think 10mm is good up to 60cm depth

    Like the drip tray idea for your external Skimmer.
    What is your water height in your tank? 10mm glass with good bracing is normally good to about 650mm?
    Love this build, and your sump is nicely thought out.. Enjoy:thumbup:

    What are you going to be keeping and what type of lighting you going to be using... you have some decent kit there
