Damn, condolences to the parties involved !

This shark diving and chumming, really stupid in my opinion.
Like walking into a lion den with a leg of lamb strapped to your thigh

Well, someone made a boo-boo. I've been bitten while diving (filming raggies during the peak of the breeding season) before, also my own fault so no bad feelings for sharkey at all. You chum - you get chowed!

Sorry to see and hear of that happening. But, I am also sorry to say: SOMEONE WAS LOOKING FOR IT! It was BOUND to happen. Especially with snorkellers who cannot look the shark in the eye.....

SCUBA diving with sharks is different, when in a group, as there are MANY pairs of eyes looking the shark/s in the eye!

Oceanic whitetips have declined by up to 98% in the past 30 years. I guess this is going to be progressively more of a rarity.
