Has anyone used this salt ? How does it compare to D+D O2 and TM salt ?

Well Red sea and D-D salt are made the same way. TM is purely synthetic and IMHO the better salt.

Hi there I have bought a bucket the other day, and it seems to be fine. The main thing I like is that it mixes very fast, about 2.5 hours. All my corals look very happy and I have tested the kh and Cal, spot on as advertised on the bucket.

It also works out a bit more cost effective that the Instant Ocean Reef crystals.

Did you see it at Jungle Aquatics? If so there pricing on this salt is very good.

No , only that I havent been there in a while , will have a look. I changed from TM to D+D and corals seem happier .

Good to hear that is specs are good. I may give it try once my supply of D+D is used up.

Red Sea salt is fine to use, decent quality. My choice however will still be D+D. Low in Po4 and high in trace elements. Tropic Marin, sadly for the price does have high phosphates.

    Hi guys

Starting my tank up on the weekend... 1300L Reef

Would like to know which Salt to use.....

    Aquamedic Salt
    Seachem Salt
Natural sea water from the CT Aquarium (most likely high in phosphates and some algae?)
    Any other?

    Thanks

    Fischer

I'm not too phased about the initial cost... any recommendations?

    Thanks...

Would you say that D-D is better than Seachem or Aquamedic salt?

At what price does D-D sell per 20kg bucket/ or 600L mix?

Natural Sea Water. If it is easy to come by, use it.
