red nori/green nori

    hey guys
    been wondering
    what is the diff' between the noris ( and the smart a@#$ses please dont say colour :slayer:)
    i mean , is there any diff in nutriotanal value etc ?

    i cant remember exactly what the difference is but the red is the better of the 2. i think (an i stand to be corrected here) the green is olva (a fairly common algae and meduim in nutrition) and the Red is gracilaria. gracilaria is widley used in the abalone industry for its high nutritional content compared to and other algaes of a simular sized piece or weight.

    anthony calfo actually discussed the differences at imacsa a few years ago
