Red Bull Alert

One can of Red Bull doesn't just give you wings - it also increases the chances of heart disease and stroke in even young people. The energy drink, which contains about 80 mg of caffeine, makes your blood sticky which is a precursor of cardiovascular diseases. Just one hour after downing a Red Bull your blood system resembles that of a patient with cardiovascular disease, Dr Scott Willoughby of the Cardiovascular Research Centre at the Royal Adelaide Hospital in Australia warns. People suffering from stress or high blood pressure should avoid the energy drink completely, he says. Red Bull has been banned in Norway, Uruguay and Denmark because of the health hazards listed on the can. The Red Bull company has indicated it intends studying these findings.

3 Billion cans of Red Bull were consumed last year.
Yep - 3 billion. That's at least half of the worlds population.

There has been a lot of negative publicity around Red Bull over the years, but in most instances you would need to drink a case in a night to be in any real danger.
The countries that it is banned in, have banned any foodstuff's that contain those ingredients.

Interesting though to see what Red Bulls official statement will say.
