    It is Sad :(
I caught a 18kg Blue spotted Stingray and it spawned on the sand while I was getting the hook out and trying to release it. Out of the 5 babies, only 1 swam off. Up till now im still so upset.

its bad when people are hungry. if you are a humble fisherman and your family is starving what do you do? it does say that they were warned however, but when faced with tough choices sometimes bad stuff gets done.

Is that not a survival thing, I know some jelly fish release their eggs when they know the are going to die. So I am sure some fish etc will do a similar thing.

Whilst i don't like it, the way i see it, it is local fishermen, NOT people with a choice, sad when you see it happen, but bush meat has been eaten for years and it can't be stopped.

Very different with the Japanese/Chinese that take whales and other endangered species as delicasies:(

It still amazes me how Eastern Asians will eat anything.

Or maybe it is us westerns only eat a small portion of what is edible :whistling:
