Raising brine shrimp

Hi guys. Has anyone that has raised brine shrimp and fed them something else besides phyto? Ive heard you can use brewers yeast as well? What else can I try until my phyto is up and running?

I gave my hatchlings britewells AminŌmega. But dont think that is a suitable food source if your raising them to adult. If memory serves me right Pet Stop sells phyto maybe check if they have stock. @moolis

You can feed them egg yoke too but use to use phyto more often as they liked it more & was easier to keep clean using phyto

You can feed them spirulina powder that you can get at dischem and it is cheap.

 

[Pepper]

You can raise them on just about anything (even decomposing leaves) and just enrich them before feeding to fish.
