I'm no expert, but those photo's look like they've been "Photoshopped"... I'm sure there's a name for that "effect" applied to the image.

Think its a bit of light manipulation as well as colour enhancement on PS

I have seen a few that have red tentacles and green around the mouth area. But the colours were not as pronounced and vivid as the pics.

Sorry to say but that is legit. There is one just like it in my friends tank. It kills me to look at it.

I'll see what I can get out of him in terms of species, origin etc.

I have some like that. Lousy cell pic, but you get the idea:

    I don't think they're exceptionally rare.

Wow they are awesome! @robvdv under what lighting was this one when you took the pic? I'm wondering now, taking into consideration the dramatic change actinics makes to how corals appear, how many of these beautiful anemones are in our tanks that we just don't know about because of lighting...

No, she isn't sir. She's in fact very slow growing. I'm very happy to give her back if you like? Sorry to hear about the de-wors.

Just T5s. I'm sure with my SLR and a bit of time I could take a pic as good as the other ones shown here. Not saying they aren't great anemones pictured in this thread, just saying you need to be a little careful trying to compare photos to reality.

I think James' clone is amazing in person, although the photo here doesn't translate that properly. Off the photos, I might prefer mine.
