    Welcome to MASA.

    Fish look good. Just the SPS and corals look like they are struggling. Where did you get them from?

    @Racoon if you dont mind me asking, how much did that hangon skimmer set you back, where did you get it from and what size tank is it rated for? (you can pm me the details if you dont want to post them on the thread). Thinking about getting one for my tank seeing as i dont have a sump to put a normal skimmer in (tank is survivng on weekly water changes at the moment), thanks :)

    @Nemos Janitor - It wasn't on purpose :)

    The corals in the tank are there specifically for food for the butterflyfish.
    I'm not sure on the size of the tank, will have to measure it tomorrow.

    The Pakistan has now become my favorite. He is so placid, and not aggressive to any of my other fish.

    I must admit, I am loving this new hobby

    I just lost my Pakistan Butterflyfish. Couldn't get him to eat properly - I am so sad :-(
    Have just however found out, that when I do eventually get another one, if I have a few aiptasia in the tank, then that should get him eating. I really hate loosing fish

    Sorry to hear about your fish... what were you trying to feed him, when you found out he was not eating

    I had been doing some searches on the web before I bought him, so I could make sure that I placed him with the correct fish and feed him correctly. The consensus was that they eat soft and hard coral, so I made sure that he had enough of both.

    Did you also feed them any meaty food because as much as i know they are carnivores so they would need so type of meat it their diet such as brine shrimp( live or frozen ) mysis shrimp and fish, because you have so many butterfly fish in you tank there will not be enough for them to eat that the tank produces naturally..

    Yes, fed them frozen foods, garlic flakes. Tried a bunch of stuff. Didn't have a problem with the rest of the fish
