    hi guys just wanted to share this......the Orca is a much better skimmer than the old dnw range,the bubble plate and the pinwheel impeller makes this a far better skimmer

    pictures will enplane what i mean...ill ad skimate pictures later this week;)

    I dont know hey....Theres something about a DNW150 that makes it skim very well.Maybe the size of reaction chamber and pump..I dont know.But my DNW150 kicked my DNW200 ass!

    Those ORCA's are very nice and basically a upgraded version of the DNW range.Only differance is pinwheel impellor and bubble plate.So more air intake and better contact time...SO ORCA should be better then the DNW150.

    A skimmer is as good as what you feed it.....

    Hey Lanzo, the Orca-80 is not doing too bad either. About half a cup over the weekend... Nice fine bubbles...

    BTW
    When is that shipment landing? You ready for our little experiment?

    shipment is landing Wednesday and Friday

    yip i'm still up for the experiment,will try it Wednesday and then Friday if it worked well;)

    will open a thread on it tomorrow...or you can open one now

    Hi Guy's.
    That does look impressive.
    I was also a very happy DNW150 owner.
    However, replaced same with DNW200 and it Kicks ass.

    Maybe wait with the thread...it can become your trade secret if it works really well :)

    I think keep the dose in the reigon of 3000 mg. Also remember the external filer and some extra aeration.. ;)

    I'll come past on Thursday after work to see how it worked...

    if you really want it to kick ass big time...drill the venturi and get a pinwheel impeller;)

    I still need to git it a proper stand... On a sturdy box at the moment for the out-let to reach itno my sumo..

    Very nice Lanzo. My BM260 creates bubbles like that :) - Difference being, I have 2 x 2000 litre per hour AquaBee pin wheel pumps...

    2x 2000l/h pumps...rated for a 1200l tank then?

    haven't seen one in action here yet, would love to see the beast...have read allot about it.
