Hi guys, I need a few prices on different tanks. Here goes

    600L x 600W x 600H cube - rimless with c to c overflow at the back

    1. In normal glass with black silicon
    2. In normal glass with clear silicon
    3. With 3 sides starfire with black silicon

1200L x 600W x 600H tank - neatly euro braced on top and bottom with c to c overflow on the short side so that tank has two long viewing sides and one short one

    1. In normal glass with black silicon
    2. In normal glass with clear silicon
    3. With 3 sides starfire with black silicon

Both should have 1 hole in the overflow, will go into details when I made up my mind regarding hole size :p

So, that should be 6 prices then - hope you guys can help :)

    Thanks

a cube looks nice if you can view 3 or 4 sides, less than 3 then it's not worth going for it, also, cube's scaping might be bit more difficult but you can do it very nicely.

1.2 got more options for scaping and you have a large viewing pane if you are limited to placement.

make sure before drilling of how/what bulkh fitting you going to use and drill big enought for that, don't drill and 'think' it's ok and then struggle to find something to fit.

I would also go with the 1.2 but make it slightly wider. 800mm will be very cool;)

    I know you miss me!
My stand is 1200 x 600 and not going to make another one - no one in witbank does galvanising, so it's going to cost a lot in the end.

hey oom! good to see you are back into the setting up phase! can i suggest making the tank taller? from 600 to 700? I know you cant reach very far with those penguin flippers but if you are starved for width and length maybe give yourself a bone and make it taller? it would be really nice, promise!!!!
