Is this coral living on top of another coral, or is it just a weird camera angle ?

Hi Warr - If you and Alan don't mind - I will answer the question:
- what seems to have happened here, is that the montipora (the flat, plate-like coral at the bottom) has grown AROUND the mounds which the 2 acropora corals was mounted on.....

Are These two species not aggressive ? happy to be living next to each other ?

Hi Warr - that I am not too sure of - they could possibly be - BUT, I have seen these corals like that in nature too (while SCUBA diving on the corals reefs)....
So, I can only presume that they are - they seem to be sort-of compatible....

Yip 100% correct the monti grows around the base of the corals and they do fight a bit so have to keep the monti trimmed back.

That is a very cool picture.
