Wes, those are pink zoas. Very different. I dont think there is anyone in the country that has those purple palythoas. If someone does have they have never posted any pics.

I do have some purples. I honestly cant say if they are palys or just big zoas. I reckon palys, will need to take a pic. They resemble the purple people eaters morphs that you see on google. They are VERY slow growing and fragging isnt an option at the moment.

As Marius said, dont think anyone actually has any of those you posted

    Thanks martin, appreciate it.
Please keep me in mind if you ever frag them...
Can you perhaps try to post a photo?
    Cheers

Nope, i doubt they gonna make it. Something is killing them off and its not water quality

Sorry to hear that martin, ive read an article last week about dying palys & zoas.
The summary of the whole article was that they are short on supplements, & that additional supplements needs to be fed to them.
So ive been trying it on one half of my plain green paly colony, & they are looking much happier than the rest.
Im making a mix of enriched brine & plankton, add a drop of aquavitro fuel to them, & feed twice a week. Works really well.

I have tried target feeding. Didnt seem to help. They were fine and expanding at an amazing pace. From 7 polyps to over 50 in about 6months. Then they just started to die off, one after another

    hehe.

The original rock it came on was split in two, gMAN had the other half. His also went a completely different color. Must be the lights. I will try and find a pic of what they looked like on day 1. Was SUPER bright
