Hi Guy's,

Need some advice where to put these in the Boyu TL 550. I bought Phosguard and Purigen today  . I have activated carbon already.

I have put the Activated Carbon on the Right hand side chamber (below the Filter Floss), Phosguard in the Second chamber from the right (below the Skimmer) and Purigen (below the Heater) in the third chamber from the right. The 4th Chamber has the Pump.

What do you guy's think?:)

Ideal Sequence

Good buys!

Mechanical filtration/floss - IF at all necessary
ProteinSkimmer
*Activated Carbon*
Phosguard
Purigen

*Esp. if unsure of Activated Carbon grade or Brand's Phosphate leaching capacity*

If quality carbon assured, then , Ok to place after Phosguard

Yup, Brent, dedicated hi flow THROUGH is most beneficial.

With armaments as above, you have chemical, and mech. waste management sewn up.

Just remember to replenish skimmed/absorbed/adsorbed trace elements as part of routine , small waterchanges, OR additions.
