Purchasing a new SKIMMER

Need a new skimmer for 55 gallon tank. No sump so it must be hang on. An y advice!!!?????

I have a second hand red sea prizm if you want...not the best skimmer IMO.

Whay not try add a sump...even if it's in a bucket?

I second the Reef Octo! Take a look at the BH100 rated at up to 250L but I would recommend the BH300 rated at 500L if your budget could stretch that far!

Found this at LFS for good price its huge and recommended for a tank thrice as big as mine.

Haqos Skimmer

Comes with needle wheel pump. R800
Haven't heard of these, it does look a bit promising, dunno, take a chance maybe. Personally I would go with one of the known brands that have been tried and tested and work.

Hey Keyaam, i'm using the red sea, not even the pro, and works like a charm! u wont be dissapointed.
I ran it as a hangon intially, but when i got my sump, i moved it into the sump (submerged), and for sum reason it worked much better...
I empty cup twice a week, and do regular weekly cleaning of cup & skimmer neck

I bought the pro second hand but u should have seen the skimmate. Looks like black coffee:yeahdude:

Can't wait to hook it up

Does anyone no where I can get parts for my skimmer. Did not get the media container for it
