Gees, with that sort of volume, you might want to visit a swiming pool supplies shop...;)

Yes, but they are on my closed loop. I got no internal pumps. Completely anemone safe.

4 outlets, I got at least 6000L/h per outlet. Not too bad, with head loss due to corners taken into account. I compared it against a 5000L/h Boyu and the CLS outlet is stronger.

thanks guys, will check out the reeflow. Will need two, one for the closed loop and one for the main circulation setup.

My pumps also packed up at quite some rate recently. What pumps between 2000 and 6000l should one buy if you want it to last a long time?

If its for inside the display tank then I would probably go for Seio Props.

Easy, I got no internal pumps, and the CLS inlet is a 50mm pipe, 1m long with 200 little 6mm holes. The suction per hole is so low, you hardly feel it. So I need an anemone that is at least 1m in size to cover the pipe all around, to be of concern.

Why 2? Main circulation also a Reeflow? Normally the water flow via the sump is about 3 to 5 times water turnover per hour. So 500L display, between 1500 to 2500L/h flow, so taking head height loss into account, then 2500 to 3000L/h pump is OK.

Rather use both on a double CLS. Reduce pumps in display.

Cons, Reeflow is more expensice that SunSun powerheads. You can buy a lot more SunSuns and will get a lot more flow that with the same money on Reeflow. Also will consume less energy than Reeflow.

    But,
tank will look neater, no ugly pumps inside that needs cleaning weekly.
And can be more Anemone safe, obviously dependant on intake strainer design.
