    Hi All

Okay so I thought I would quickly post this for noobs like myself.

I got a frag of Xenia recently and it didn't pulse.
So I waited for a day or so as from reading some articles...
Saying Xenia is either a hit or a miss - either survives or dies.
So then I thought maybe my parameters were incorrect,
checked, double checked - all was fine.

Placed the Xenia in a better flow area and poof like magic...

    Xenia starts pulsing.

    So placement is important!

    Anyway Cheers

also sounds like you should re-look at the flow in your system. With way too slow movement areas, that is where you will end up with Detritus settlement.

    Spending on your system.
    Softies, 20 times turnover.
SPS, 60 and even more times turnover.

It does depend on your rock layout as well.

Xenia is awesome, i suppose you right. Once i have a mother colony and it starts growing like a weed i would be upset, but for now i only have a frag :)
