I just bought a couple polystyrene foam back ground pieces from Exo Terra. What kind of adhesive would any of you suggest to adhere it to glass. I would need to be able to remove it on occasion to completely clean the the terrarium that the pieces would be in. :thanks:

Try Bostic or GemKen. The blocks will stick to the glass so that the glass and blocks can be removed for cleaning.

What about Scotch double-sided foam tape as an option

    bad idea

soon as the sponge gets wet the glue/adhesive fails

if it's going in-tank use silicone, MARINE or Den-Braven's Black magic.

if it's being stuck outside the tank use selotape with a very clean glass surface and hair dryer.

Adhesive velcro would be my suggestion as it is a terraruim and not a fish tank.

I want to thank those of you who sent me suggestions on what I could us to adhere the decorative background to the inside walls of my tank. I ended up using strips of velcro.
