    It is in protective custody, do you think it will recover. Normally when they look like that they on their way out. Did you try this method before.

    I have had a traachy fully recover after looking like that so it is possible, did you dip it in iodine 1st? I would recoment regular iodine dips to ward off infection.

    First thing I did was the iodine dip. But the mouth is damaged. Not likely to make it. But have seen some incredible turn around on RC in the LPS section.

    You never know until you try, anyway I will learn from this and hopefully do more successful rescues.

    Hi, it amaze me how you bring nearly dead corals to live. if you post a pic of the nearly dead corals ask urgent help needed. reply from nearly every body throw away, jet you bring them back of the brink of death.:thumbup:

    Bubble at 4 June 2013, it is doing fine. Hope to have it grow into a massive bubble but time will tell.

    its always so satisfying knowing that you have put a dying coral into your tank and since then it has started to kick into life i have a blasto that had about 10 polyps ended up shriveling up when i received it, it only had 1 polyp now there are 3 new ones coming through

    Also have a blasto, but it is unlikely that it will make it. Post a pic if your blasto in your thread, would like to see it.

    @Seabass, 'Mr project rescue'

    I need your assistance and advice.

    I have a pink branched hammer that was happy for a few months. All of the sudden it became unhappy.... I dipped it in coral dip. But it's a few weeks later and still no improvement. It's now starting to affect my other non branch hammer.

    My water parameters are all in tact. Calc 460, Mag 1200, Alk 8.6, Phos 0.5, Nitrate 2 (I usually maintain my nitrate at 0 and Phos at 0,03). There are no fish that's nipping the hammer.... All other Lps are doing fine except the hammer.

    What can it be?

    Apologies for poor picture quality.....

    :eek:

    That's where I refer to. It is also on RC, under the lps section, thread started by reefengineer99 I think.
