Thanks. Was going through the tank threads and it is amazing to see where we started and how we progressed and learn & still learning the do's & don't through happy & sad times
 
Had diy @ first and running led t5 now 2 x odyssea t5 & 1 x beamsworks led
 
4 hour power outs !!! So this is where we on in parts of the west rand at.
Power outs from 1:30 - 6:00 then 9:00 - 13:00 & 17:00 - 21:30 & then it starts agen so here is what i have done.
System:
1kw worth solar pannels
3kw inverter
14 deepcycle nayyerus
Got all 12v lights in side and out side the house & had to connect tv to system now to justify why i need the system. Back to the tank so im running
1 x bm c9
2 x 3000lh wave makers
1 x 6000lh return
1 x np reactor
1 x 100w heater just to keep temp drop low
My tank runs @ 26 deg & over 4 hour's i get a 0.5 - 0.6 deg drop.
 
My small green perple rim monti doubled in size and zoas from 20 heads to 30+ Pincushon 1 @ 40cm diameter and 2 @ 25cm diameter same with the lumo green Cabbage + from 3 rics to 10
 
What a nice build..Pushing through the setbacks and having some awesome progress with the coral growth!!:thumbup1:
