    hi are there any of the above in the durban area I am getin hesitant to get any more inhabitants for my tank as every time I have to go away for work even witht the most explicit instructions my mom ends up killing half my livestock

    A tank sitter is a good idea. A few weeks ago my Mom inlaw looked after the tank for three days. She didn't top up with RO water and we found our return pump sucking serious air. To add to it we had a hot spell and the temperature had spiked to 29C. Thankfully we only lost a few things and had a serious algae bloom for the next 2 weeks. I can only imagine what would have happened if we went away for longer...
