I never feed it and yet it keeps getting bigger!:1:
Now 18 months old, and it just doesn't look like its stopped growing.
Corals have no chance against this thing.
Going to take up a 3rd of my tank if it keeps on like this.

(please, please anemone, dont ever think of going walk about !!!)

    I suggest either:
    1. Cut it in half and trade the excess half once its healed
    2. Swap it for a different species (M. doreensis is nice and seldom troublesome)
    3. Give up and let whatever happens happen

I'm always keen on a nice RBTA clone, so I'll take the other half if you choose option 1. ;)

Rob's suggestion might be good one but it is a beaut anyway and i think it is great feature, are those purple queen anthias as well? I see bartletts and squampinnis but also what looks like a purple queen?

    Holy crap!
    Dude!

Thats the same species Wild on Pets has. Its going to get bigger, they have a separate tank just for the nennie and 2 clowns and its huge and still growing. It would be a shame to propagate it, see if you can't find an addict willing to keep it and sell it/swap it :p

    Yes, a purple queen.
The only one of 3 that I've been able to get to feed properly.
Even eats pellets now, jumps into the feeding glass when I insert the frozen food!

On the anemone, I wouldn't try cut this specimen. Too risky in my opinion, wouldn't want to loose it and if it went bad, it would take the rest of the tank with it.

Worst case scenario, it takes over the whole island its on:whistling:.
If it ever splits, I'll keep Rob in mind

Beautiful anemone! Cutting is not as bad as it sounds. It is actually pretty simple.

But it is beautiful just the way it is.
