    We have started again!:razz:
    Tank size - 2300 x 800 high x 600 wide.
    sump size - 4000 x 900high x 800 wide.
    BABY Step guys Baby steps - this is going to take time and we're going to take it slow:whistling:

    This is were the tank is going to stand the base is already lying there.

    WOW Animalia! This is REALLY going to be a stunning tank afterwards! Tagging along on this one!

    AWESOME sump size! BUT - where exactly are you going to place the 4 metre sump then?

    Very nice size tank Animalia - just make sure that cupboard can support the weight of the tank. According to your sizes it will have more than a 1000litre of water.
    That is more than a ton, without the weight of the glass or live rock - which could easily bring it to 1250 - 1500 kg. It is the same as putting a saloon car on top of that counter! If that is a normal kitchen cupboard with no steel structure, I would not do it in my opinion ;)

    Tobes when the company built the cupboards in they added extra uprights and in the base strenghtened the cupboard. basicaly each door has its own cupboard to support the weight it will carry. it has the carying capacity of 2 tons - nice explanation about the saloon car though

    The sump is not in the cupboard - can anyone guess where it is????

    They finished it today - now its got to cure before any treatments.

    for more water filtration volume - and its will house everything! Skimmers ATS auto top up etc.

    I told hubby nothing again in the house - if it catches fire its outside!!!!:wave2:

    12mm upwards the thicker the less bracing.

    The cupboard is only so wide and I wanted to start someting nice And only One tank in the house - ONLY ONE!!!:whistling:
