Hi all, we had a power outage in Durban North last night at 20h30, out Safety Connector kicked in and the tank kept on running through the night with no problem. We went to bed safe in the knowledge that the aquarium would carry on running, and it did.......
Peace of mind is a wonderful thing, 1 x TUNZE pump and a 6105.500 Safety Connector, with a small gate battery........Cheers Anita

Any TUNZE electronic pump (6055, 6095, 6105, 6155, 6255, 1073.05) can attach to a 6105.500 Safety Connector (R500) this gets connected to a small gate battery and a trickle charger (if you want). As soon as the power goes off the pump attached to the safety connector kicks in and you have more than enough oxygen to run the tank and keep you tank in good order. When the power comes back on the battery turns off..........simple.

    Hi Anita,

I purchased the safety connector for my nano wave box 6206 and am yet to connect it up. Can you perhaps post a pic, im assumimg the end with the block connector goes to the battery end. I would also like to know how a trickle charger can be connected as id like the battery to charge once expired.
