Titanse - I have 2 suggestions for you in the meanwhile. Try and constantly collect water and drop water from a height, back into the tank. This will keep the water oxygenated.

Also - what you can use, but only use very little at a time - is Hydrogen Peroxide (the stuff that women use as additive for dying their eye-lashes/hair....
This becomes H2O and O2 in the tank's..... But, just add a little at a time. Tony knows about this as he does this often.

The important thing now, is to keep the water oxygenated, and get gas exchange happening.....

    Good luck mate.....

Eish good luck mate. If you were in Cape Town you would have been more than welcome to leave lifestock in my sumps (I have 6 tanks interconnected for my sump)....

    ;)

Good luck. Get the Cadac going for the hot coffee as well, so long!

No probs. A gennie is really worth it - My gennie I got from Makro a while back (in 2008 already). I paid R1899 for mine, which is a "1.2kVA Camping gennie" (which is more quiet that other gennies). 4-stroke.

And I can pull my whole tank, and whole TV cabinet, as well as (if I really push it), my double-door fridge! ;) (but the the gennie really labours!)
