Hi guys, I'm new to this game and are still setting up my tank. Question is: Is a metal part, witch is totally powder coated safe to submerge in the water?

Probably... but for how long? What do you want to submerge?

Looking for alternative for chiller. Was toying with the idea of a evaporator (like a ice makers') witch can be used in days when the heat spikes are bad. An ice maker has a powder coated evaporator that will definitely cool the water down temporarily.
    :(
