    Hi guys
Notice on my powderblue today a couple of white bits on him with some protruding, also on his fins blotches of white.
I have 3 lionfish, could they just be lionfish stings?

No signs of of anything on the lions and all parameters are in check, got SPS and theyre all happy, could this be some type of infection?

Hi Deadmeat - this might just be a parasite infection. I would feed him some garlic induced food (ie nori dipped in fresh garlic oil or garlic - or just some finely chopped garlic.

You can get some pre-manufactured food with garlic in it as well. This should help.

Alternatively - you can find some meds (here somewhere on MASA there was a discussion forum on what meds you can use for your fish - I cannot remember all the medicine's names anymore - I will see if I can find the thread)....

For now - leave your PB tang - just feed it enriched foods - it should be able to get "better" by itself.

From this pic - your fish does look quite healthy though - except for the parasites.....

Don't worry about how he got it, Deadmeat - things like this sometimes happen. It could have been an environmental influence, ie some movement outside the tank, or perhaps a little too much CO2 or even perhaps water being a wee bit too warm....
